Ken is an expert in analyzing your business need and helping your business grow and remain profitable. Ken is involved in all aspects of accounting and tax services for our clients. He has been preparing tax returns for 30 plus years and specializes in partnership and corporation tax returns. Another area of Ken’s expertise is rental real estate as he is a partner in rentals himself. He attended Grand Valley State University for four years.

Accountant/Payroll Specialist
Christie is our payroll extraordinaire. She handles all aspects of payroll. From payroll processing to monthly and quarterly payroll reports. Christie not only handles payroll for clients locally, but can also handle payrolls for clients across the United States. Christie also has several accounting clients that she helps. She has worked for Diemer Accounting since 1992. When she is not at work, Christie enjoys camping with her husband and son.

Kenneth Hornecker

Kenneth has been working as an accountant for several years. His area of expertise is Quick Books, both online and desktop. He also loves working with Excel Spreadsheets. Kenneth lives in Kentwood with his wife. He has been on a local School Board for many years.

Marc has been a Tax Preparer at Diemer Accounting & Tax Services Inc for more than 12 years. Marc lives in Holland with his family. He is an avid sports fan and loves to coach baseball. He had coached a traveling team of Middle School boys for several years.

Lynn has worked at Diemer Accounting since August of 2018. She lives in Zeeland with her family. She loves her 6 grandchildren ages 14 to one. She has prepared taxes for over 20 years in Zeeland Michigan and now at Diemer Accounting.. At Diemer Accounting and Tax Services Lynn has several roles – Administrative Assistant, helping out at the front desk and some accounting and tax return work also. During the summer months, she enjoys camping with her family.

Patricia Averill

“Tricia” joined our team last tax season. She had worked in several tax offices prior to working with our clients. Tricia lives in the Grand Haven area with her husband and two dogs that go everywhere – riding on the family quad is something that they get excited about. When Tricia is not working on tax returns she teaches Driver’s Training classes both online and in person to local youth.

Nicole Schmit

Nicole joined our team in 2024. She comes to Diemer Accounting & Tax Services with skills she used at H & R Block both managing offices and working with clients. Nicole will be working on tax returns and also helping out at the front desk during the upcoming tax season. Nicole lives in Grandville. She has one daughter and is an avid reader and photographer. She works for Lifetouch in local schools.
